Mary Palmquist, a Senior Director of Quest Administrative Services, has 40 years of diverse business experience primarily focused in accounting, finance and project management.

Ms. Palmquist led the internal bankruptcy process for Adelphia Communications Corporation which was among the largest bankruptcies in US history has been supporting those efforts since 2003. Ms. Palmquist has deep bankruptcy expertise and has worked extensively with bankruptcy counsel, managed relationships with institutional trustees and paying agents.  In Adelphia, Ms. Palmquist developed standards and accountability and oversaw final resolution of over 23,000 claims representing over 13,000 creditors totaling over $3.2 trillion in filed claims and oversaw the resolution of approximately 60,000 contracts. In addition, Ms. Palmquist oversaw the distribution of over $14 billion to creditors and also to holders of interests in the Adelphia Recovery Trust (the “ART”), a litigation trust established pursuant to the Adelphia Plan of Reorganization. Ms. Palmquist also was integrally involved in the tax compliance process and oversaw the dissemination of tax information to beneficiaries of the ART.  Many of the systems that Ms. Palmquist established have been extremely beneficial to other bankruptcy cases that she has worked on.

Recently, Ms. Palmquist has been supporting the Doral Financial Creditors’ Trust primarily focusing on the relationship with the paying agent, maintaining the capital records for the Interest Holders of the liquidating trust and supporting the reporting and tax compliance efforts of the team.

Previously, Ms. Palmquist worked in management positions in the cable television industry and is a Certified Public Accountant.
